This three part documentary, here uploaded in its entirety, is without doubt producer Allan Frankovich's masterpiece. It covers little known initiatives used by state security services across Western Europe during the Cold War. In short what our leaders did post-WWII was to actively recruit former Nazis and fascists from the old broken Axis regimes of Germany, Italy and their short lived puppets in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and even in other Western nations such as Switzerland and Norway, whose acts subverted the let wing cause in gaining political power through democratic means. They also had a duel purpose which was to act as independent resistance cells against the Soviets if they invaded. Trouble is they were hard to control and many acts of terrorism, be it condoned by the state or not, have been attributed to them over the years, especially during the 1970s - or what the Italians are calling the Decade of Lead. How much fact is in these allegations? That is the real question we must ask ourselves. Did the Italian authorities know about the bombings of Milan, Rome and Bologna before hey occurred? What was the role of the infamous P2 masonic lodge in coordinating such actions and whom were they accountable to?
