Wal-Mart spent $2.6 million lobbying in 2nd quarter on health care reform, safety issues, more

WASHINGTON — Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's largest retailer, spent nearly $2.6 million lobbying in the second quarter on a wide range of issues from health care reform to organized crime and labor union issues, according to a recent disclosure report.
