The hostel I stayed at looked great and had a nice common room with free air hockey and a ping pong table. Looking back I think I had the most fun in chicago. I went out for 5 consecutive night and each was better than the last. The first night (Friday) the hostel had organised a pub crawl and I signed up for that and we got taken to the uptown district of chicago to 4 different bars throughout the night. The bars were great and each was very different and I got to test my skills at beer pong. When we got to the second bar I handed my ID to the bouncer and then turned around next to him to look for my mate. This French guy then walked up to me and hands me his ID mistaking me for the bouncer. I looked At it and said "nah sorry mate, Can't let you in". The look on his face was great. It was funny until the bouncer gave me a strange look so I quickly got myself a beer The next night the hostel organized a trip to the Michigan park to look at a free dance festival (ballet) and i wasn't going to go, but when I saw that most of the group were good-looking girls I quickly changed my mind.
