Reputed Mobster: Drop Death Plot Charges

An indictment accusing a reputed mobster of trying to arrange the killing of a Mafia rival should be dismissed because prosecutors promised not to seek criminal charges as part of an earlier plea deal, a defense attorney said Monday.
