Iran Committed To Combating Smuggling Of Drugs, Says Ambassador

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 15 (Bernama) -- Iran's ambassador Prof Dr Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi says his country is committed to combating smuggling of narcotic drugs and hopes for cooperation among Malaysian, Iranian and international police to "uproot the international mafia gangs" which he feels are conducting the activities of drug smuggling into Malaysia by Iranians.
