Hearing rescheduled for mother, son accused in Mafia extortion ring targeting Taunton bookies

The sentencing hearing has been rescheduled for a mother and son accused of helping to orchestrate a Mafia extortion ring targeting Taunton bookies. Anthony St. Laurent Jr., 44, and his mother, Dorothy St. Laurent, 71, are now due to appear Dec. 17 in U.S. District Court in Providence for sentencing.
