Chicago Police Officer's Badge Retired

Badge number 7322 was retired today of fallen Chicago police officer Nathaniel Taylor Jr. Taylor's star was placed in the honorary case at Chicago Police Headquarters. Taylor, of the organized crime division, was shot during a narcotics investigation on September 28, 2008. He passed away later that day at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
