Anti-land grabbing cells in districts expanded as part of recent exercise

The police crackdown on the land mafia which thrived during the previous DMK regime took a new turn on Thursday when district panchayat vice-president and local DMK strongman E Anandan told the judicial magistrate court here that investigating officials forced him to sign a set of blank papers.
