1970 Leon Jordan ‘cold case’ now goes to prosecutors

A Kansas City police investigation into the 40-year-old murder of civil rights leader Leon Jordan has found that a little-known mafia associate was a key link in what appears to have been a mob-related conspiracy to have Jordan killed. The case has been turned over to the Jackson County prosecutor’s office for review.
