Missing JSMM general secretary found dead

KARACHI: Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) Secretary General Muzzaffar Bhutto was found dead 15 months after he went missing from Hyderabad bypass area. His body was in mutilated condition. The workers of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) and JSMM took out demonstrations in several cities of Sindh, including Tando Muhammad Khan, Matyari, Hyderabad, Larkana, Dokri, Qamber, Qazi Ahmad, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Khairpur, Sehwan Sharif, Dadu and Shahdadkot, against the murder of Muzzaffar Bhutto. Maqsood Bhutto, brother of Muzzafar Bhutto, said the JSMM secretary general's body, bearing marks of torture, was found in a gunny bag from Hyderabad bypass area. JSQM leader Sagar Hanif Burdi told Daily Times that Muzzaffar Bhutto was allegedly arrested by some intelligence personnel dressed in plain clothes, from New Saeedabad Toll Plaza on February 25, 2011, while on his way to Hyderabad. "JSQM has announced a peaceful shutter-down and wheel-jam strike across Sindh on Wednesday," Burdi said. He said, "Samiullah Kalhoro was first person who was arrested by law enforcement agencies from Dadu and later was released in serious condition after torture and passed away." Muzzaffar Bhutto had been affiliated with the JSQM as its central treasures in the past. He later quit the JSQM and joined JSMM. asghar azad
