Just as you finally begin to relax; you've drawn yourself a nice, hot bubble bath and start to remove your clothes and are about to jump in, you notice something particularly odd. The front door is open and now creaking. You toss on a furry robe and shut the door, twisting the lock just in case. Eventually you made your way back into the warm serenity of your white bath rub. The warmth seeps into your skin and you close your eyes- giving your body the rest it deserves. Unfortunately, your cell phone goes off with a text message. It's from your mother, who lives not too far away from you, asking why you were not at her house yet for dinner. You curse and hop out of the tub, immediately feeling the cold air prick up multiple goose bumps all over your skin. Somehow you'd forgotten that you and your two sisters were having dinner tonight at moms. You slip on some presentable clothing and grab your car keys, but you wouldn't be making it to your mother's. As you exit your neat bedroom, you're struck in the face with a blunt object. You hold your head, feeling the blood and pain underneath your shaking hand.
