The Black Veil is a noir short film set in the 1940's, and it is about a hit-man named Johnny Roscoe who decides he wants to leave his life of crime after trying to start a family of his own. Of course, this doesn't run well with his boss, and now he must fight against everything he once stood for to rescue his wife.
