Russia's Prosecutor General has taken peronsal charge of a reported gangland massacre in the south of the country, that took place on Friday. 8 people were shot dead including six members of the same family at a house in Stavropol. Two children survived the attack, including his newborn granddaughter and an 8-year-old boy. It was not the first attempt on the life of the reported mob boss, who had a long criminal record. Vladimir Sizayev's wife was killed in a previous attack. Russia's Investigation Committee Chief is on his way to the crime scene, where a special team will be set up to work on the case.
