www.netbooknews.com Warren Coles from Linpus shows off MeeGo Linpus Lite Tablet Edition at the MeeGo Conference in Dublin. The Linux based operating system supports multitouch & is sporting a number of applications including a Fennec Browser. It is an icon based launch with a widget based desk top that can be swiped up, down or side to side. We see the UI demoed on two devices a Moorsetown tablet and an Acer Netbook. They also offer up a book shelf that is paired up with an eReader in which the books are organized by category, fiction, romance, crime etc. In the eReader you'll also have the ability to highlight text, skip quickly through pages and zoom in. We don't actually get to see the media player in full functioning action but it does have a virtual jukebox, support for HD, and Youtube functionality all built into its main menu. So if you put in a SD card the music on it will pop-up in this main menu and can then be easily selected and played.

LOL! Lee Home was in the music playlist. Anyway, why the interface seemed like laggy? :( It is due to CPU restrain?
