KOREAN ORGANISED CRIME FILM (Part 6 of 12) Based on the life of the Writter/Director Kyung-Taek Kwak and his hometown friends. Four friends with very different backgrounds grew up together in the wearisome years of the 70s. One of them grows up in a organised crime family, while the other is the son of a undertaker (one of the lowest jobs in Korea). The other two are from middle class families with no majour problems. As time goes by, each of them takes a different life path. After enrolling in college, Sang-taek and Joon-ho return to visit Dong-su and Joon-suk, only to find one of them in jail and the other on drugs. Slowly life takes difficult turns where friends become rivals in the organised crime world. Was one of the top grossing films in South Korea.
