Frankie Payne began his quest for greatness in the early 90's while living in a metro housing complex at Falstaff Ave. in Toronto. A neighborhood known to police as a hot-bed for crime and mischief but to Frankie these crossroads were home. Payne got his official start when a neighborhood friend recruited him to form the rap group 'Split Decision'. This would be the first time he would ever write a rhyme, but only the prelude to a life of storytelling through his lyrics. Joining together caused a ripple which caught the attention of artist manager Reginal Beasen. Under Beasen's watch the group went on to release two independent music video's "Straight from the Staff" a track inspired by their childhood borough and "Bubble Gum". Both songs share credit among greats such as Maestro's "Let Your Backbone Slide" and other classics from group 'Organized Rhyme' as integral blocks to Toronto's Hip Hop foundation.
