Subscribe for the latest news from SNTV: bit.ly Interpol and FIFA pledge to fight match fixing together at a two-day conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Wednesday (February 20th). Dale Sheehan, Director Capacity Building and Training, Interpol: "Match fixing ? A victimless crime? Not at all. We are gathered here today because match fixing is not in fact a victimless crime. It is often directly related to transnational organised crime groups making it a global problem. And it is the global issue that we are here to collectively address." Ralf Mutschke, Director of Security, FIFA: "I'm from FIFA, I have to protect football. I'm going to protect football. That's our goal. But you will not stamp out organised crime and to deter organised crime by the disciplinary code of FIFA, I mean, come on , this is not serious. I think what's really sad is we are banning referees, players for life from being involved in football. And the criminals, you have one of them named, are out there for free, they get no sanctions, and I think that's wrong."
