Former Weis Records recording artist Bobby Holley of Battle Creek, Mich. more widely known as the man who crawled from Battle Creek to Kalamazoo to draw attention to the problem of bullying in the schools, brief came out of retirement from the entertainment industry to sing for the Battle Creek Community Foundation's student scholarship efforts. He works as a substitute school teacher and has been a long time community activist, most recently sleeping under a tarp for two days to urge citizens to donate to area shelters and walked from Battle Creek to Lansing, again in a bullying awareness effort. This year, he also organized a march and a rally against crime on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 2012. Here, he sings for a crowd Friday, May 18, 2012 at The Griffin Pub.
