If a cop pulled over a speeder to give him a ticket, and the drivers seem angry that he was being pulled over. Which would raise the policeman's adrenaline. And the law breaking speeder made a comment like, "you're not going to give me a ticket" as reaches for his drivers license, he pulls back his coat and the policeman sees the drivers gun, will the policeman think the driver is one of Rick Ectors buddies, or will the policeman and draw out his weapon and possibly a split-second decision kill the driver? The policeman's answer was unbelievable. He is so brainwashed into supporting gun owners, that he lies to me. Obviously the NRA is so powerful, it must be teaching policeman classes. He tries to say that will never happen. He says gun owners will never carry their gun on them while driving. Because he says, "it is illegal to carry a gun on you in a car". He says, "the gun must be unloaded in the trunk and the ammunition must be in the glove box." Whether this is true or not, I caught him trying to lie to me to protect gun owners. I said, "this preacher Terry Jones, not only had a loaded gun in his car, his gun went off shooting a hole through the floor, missing the gas tank and blowing up the city and the policeman didn't even write him a ticket". Then I said, "if a Muslim drive his truck to FBI headquarters and accidentally shoot a hole through their gas tank, blowing up the FBI without getting a ticket?" The lying blood, drained from his face. And the policeman broke ...

@zz773 You would think they would boast about their first Black or Women to Join up. I hung around a lot of gun clubs and shooting ranges with my brother in law in the 1970's and I never seen any blacks. My sister was top ten women shooter in the US in 6

@GoTimothy I don't know. Do you? Did the NRA collect that kind of data?

@zz773 How many Blacks, Women and Confederates were in the 1870's NRA? How about the 1890's or 1900's?

@GoTimothy Nope. The NRA has always maintained that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right. That's why they've trained civilians with private arms from the beginning.

@zz773 Got ya. I just wanted you to admit, the NRA was started by two northern union, one nation under God, Americans. That had no intention of arming southern Confederates. Which means their interpretation of the Second Amendment, was that only regulated

@anomoly40 I just told you what the cop said and it seems like your in your own world, that you did not hear a thing he said. He said a cop would never shoot a driver who had a gun, because it is illegal to have a gun in the car. The cop is not psychic, h

You need to do more research. If the cop pulled over a law abiding citizen legally carrying a firearm he cannot give him a ticket because he's not breaking the law. If he has a concealed carry permit, he is carrying legally. Get over your soapbox on LEGAL

@GoTimothy You have the wrong guy, William Conant Church helped found the NRA, not William Parrish Chilton. Also involved were General Ambrose Burnside, and George Wood Wingate. They were Northerners. The NRA was founded in New York; their first shooting

@zz773 "William Parish Chilton (August 10, 1810 – January 20, 1871) was a prominent lawyer, jurist, and politician serving the people of Alabama and eventually the Confederate States of America." So are you saying the above statement is a lie or are you

Believe me dude. Your problem isn't with citizens carrying guns. It is the people we allow to carry guns in the performance of their duties!

The founders of the NRA were Union Vets, not Confederates. The NRA is an organization that was founded in the North, not the South. (Not that it matters, of course. Your slurs against Southerners are despicable.)
