Statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs As a result of special operative activities the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia detained Merab Kolbaia, nicknamed "Kotcho" - one of the key figures responsible for terrorist acts organized by Russian intelligence forces in different regions of Georgia during 2009-2010 .Investigation also revealed two members of organized criminal group: residents of Zugdidi- Davit Kekutia and Nukri Shonia who participated in the failed attempt of explosion near the railway bridge in village Tchaladidi of Khobi district, Samegrelo region and explosion near a supermarket in Mukhiani district of Tbilisi. Both persons have been detained by police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will continue investigation in order to detain others involved in the above mentioned crime.
