Tanzania: Port to Be Modernised for Oil Drilling

Tanzania's southern port, Mtwara, has been earmarked for major improvements to enable it handle supplies for offshore oil and gas drilling. The improvements will be funded by the Ophir Energy, a firm doing offshore drilling in the Mafia Island Oil Basin.
