Sumo: Tournament starts with fresh vow to severe yakuza ties

An autumn sumo tournament kicked off Sunday, as the sport's governing body refreshed its vow to cut all ties with yakuza crime groups while Japan's public broadcaster NHK resumed live broadcasts.
