The spooky, spacey sounds of Austin's Ringo Deathstarr just may prove that modern shoegaze music can emanate from anywhere, not just dour, rainy regions of the U.K. And the band's debut full-length Colour Trip does just that, recalling the Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine and other hipster faves of 20 years past.
