Red Dead pushes Take 2 profits far past expectations; L.A. Noire in 2011, BioShock Infinite in 2012

Even the publishers of Red Dead Redemption were surprised by the game's success as Take 2 has reported sales of almost 7 million units since the game's May launch. Red Dead and the recently-released Mafia II will have to keep 2K-loving action gamers satiated for the rest of the year, as L.A. Noire has been pushed into next year.
