Men sentenced to 16 years for false charity scheme

DENVER (AP) - Two 45-year-old men have been sentenced to 16 years in prison for soliciting more than $95,000 in donations to phony charities. Danny Troy Kleiman and David Dale Werkmeister pleaded guilty in June to violating the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act and committing charities fraud.
