That ugly jerry-built housing blocks rupture Sicily’s Mediterranean hillsides like stumps of rotten teeth is bad enough. But, says photographer Mimi Mollica, that the sole purpose behind their construction was to allow the Mafia to loot public money displays something worse than greed.
