Mumbai, Jan 27 : Thousands of Gazetted officers in Maharashtra today stopped work to protest the barbaric killing of Malegaon Additional District Collector Yashwant Sonawane, who was burnt alive by suspected oil adulteration mafia at Panewadi, 10 kms from Manmad, in Nashik district on January 25.
