18-year-old arrested in girl's slaying after Halloween party

Police arrested a man suspected in the death of a 17-year-old girl in a drive-by shooting after a Halloween party last month in southeast Houston. Carlos Jesus Marquez, 18, is charged with murder in the slaying of Loreal Bronte Castro, of Houston, at 8218 Concord near Dalton about 2:20 a.m. Oct. 30. Simon Romero, 18, of Pearland, was wounded in the shooting.
