Colorado man arrested on fraud charges

DENVER (AP) - A man accused of swindling nearly $777,000 from the widow of a Denver police officer has been arrested in Texas. The Denver district attorney's office said Thursday 43-year-old Xavier Joseph Duran is being held in Addison, Texas, on an indictment accusing him of securities fraud, theft and violating Colorado's organized crime act.
