Cockfighting sting plucks up a dozen suspects in Gonzales Co.

More than a dozen people are facing charges Friday after a cockfighting sting in Gonzales County. Search warrants were served over the weekend at a facility on Highway 90. The raid put an end to an operation investigators say had been running for six months. Those arrested were slapped with several different charges, ranging from organized crime to animal cruelty.
