Anti-mafia writer Saviano scoops Europe Book Prize

The European Parliament has rarely seen so much excitement underpinned by heavy security. The occasion was the awarding of the 2010 Europe Book Prize to Italy’s anti-mafia writer Roberto Saviano for his non-fiction work “Beauty and the Inferno”.
