15,273 killed in Mexico drug violence in 2010

MEXICO CITY—A total of 15,273 people were killed in violence linked to organized crime in Mexico in 2010, the most deadly year yet since President Felipe Calderon launched a crackdown on drug gangs, a government spokesman said Wednesday.
